Sir Chris Powell, NESTA Chairman, and Lord David Puttnam, NESTA Mentoring Champion, invite you to attend an evening reception to launch the NESTA Creative Business Mentoring Network on the 2nd February 2009.

 

The event and subsequent launch of the Network aims to highlight the need for support in the creative industries as a key sector within the UK economy (contributing 7% of GDP), especially given the current economic downturn.  

 

The Network of mentors, headed by Lord David Puttnam, includes some of the most successful business people from the creative sector. Each mentor has committed to sharing their skills, expertise and contacts in a bid to help high growth creative businesses grow in to market leaders of the future.

 

The launch of the Network, supported by Pact, will invite high growth media companies, from the TV production, advertising and digital media sectors, who are looking to move to the next level to apply to be mentored by experienced industry executives on a one-to-one basis.
